There’s no place like DOME!!
Nestled in the rolling hills of West Virginia, Marvin’s Mountaintop is a magical place with beautiful views, lush trees and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Its serene and secluded setting is ideal for Domefest’s signature music schedule of nonstop music with no overlapping sets. Marvin’s Mountaintop sits on private property.
See below for our directions to Domefest. DO NOT FOLLOW GPS to Marvin’s Mountaintop. The GPS directions will take you down back roads unsuitable for your vehicle. Instead, please print out the following directions:
Take I-68 East/West towards Morgantown to Exit #4 Sabraton (Route 7) in WV (NOT Exit #4 in Maryland). Once on exit, turn left onto WV-7 East/Earl Core Rd to Masontown. Go approximately 9.7 miles to Masontown. Take a left onto Depot Way (turn is at the Main Pharmacy). Go 1.8 miles then take a sharp left onto Sunny Hill Rd. Go 1.2 miles, then make a slight right to stay on Nuce Rd for another .3 miles (stay straight through the 4-way) until you hit a T in the road. Turn left at the T onto Greens Run-Long Hollow. Go about .3 miles then turn right into Marvin’s Mountaintop driveway.
Camping and parking is included in the ticket price and is highly encouraged (most people camp for the entire festival). Our staff will direct you to a designated parking space upon arrival. Domefest parking staff and volunteers are trained to park your vehicle as conveniently as possible while maintaining safety as our #1 priority – trust that we have everyone’s best interests and safety at heart. Learn more in the parking section below.
Please bring your own camping gear, including: tents, ground tarps, sleeping bags, flashlights, portable chargers, etc. If you forget any supplies, our Domefest General Store should have you covered. Campers will have access to port-o-potties all day and night. Bottled water and ice will be available for sale and there will be an ATM on site.
Please assist our waste management team and discard all materials in the proper bins, bring only what you need for the weekend, choose bulk and reusable items over disposables, and pick up after yourself when you are packing up your campsite, including every single cigarette butt. Your help is greatly appreciated!
We ask that all campers clean their personal site and be off the property by Sunday at 12pm.
Parking for all vehicles 20’6″ or less is included with your festival pass. Learn more about RV parking options including any vehicle longer than 20’6″ at domefestival.com/tickets. Those who need to leave during the festival must inform our staff upon arrival – please be smart. All others should expect to park their car for the entirety of the festival barring emergency. All vehicles are subject to search. Please be flexible with our parking staff whose first priority is maintaining everyone’s safety. We strongly encourage carpooling to reduce our carbon footprint.
Grilled food and beverage options will be available at reasonable prices with vegetarian and vegan options. Personal coolers are permitted on site and will be searched.
All domies must abide by these simple rules, thanks!
Do not litter. Marvin’s Mountaintop is a special place and we want to leave the grounds beautiful and trash-free! Be mindful of the property. Anyone who is being generally disrespectful or is caught damaging the property will be ejected without refund. Cars and coolers will be searched upon arrival to the festival grounds. Domefest supports the rights and attendance of all persons with disabilities that rely on the special skills of a trained service animal. What we DO NOT support, nor will tolerate, are pets being misrepresented by their owners as service animals, when in fact they are not. So please, don’t do it. Leave your pet at home. It is a crime to misrepresent a pet as a service animal. Those who bring their non-service animals to the festival will be ejected from the festival site without refund. You must provide proper documentation for your service animal to gain entry to the festival. Learn more at domefestival.com/accessibility.

Camping will be comfortable, but please refrain from bringing excess camping gear. There is ample space for camping and parking located mere minutes from the concert field. All general admission domies should expect a short walk from their vehicle to their campsite. Please be respectful of your neighbors and listen to our parking staff who work diligently to make sure everyone is camped comfortably and safely. Campsites should be kept to a comfortable minimum.
Parking for all vehicles 20’6″ or less is included with your festival pass. Learn more about RV parking options including any vehicle longer than 20’6″ at domefestival.com/tickets. If your vehicle is an inch or more longer than 20’6″, you must purchase an RV space at domefestival.com/tickets prior to arriving on site. Limited RV and oversized parking spaces are available first-come first-serve. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but please trust that our parking staff has everyone’s safety and best interests at heart.
Yes! Head to our tickets page to learn more about RV and oversized vehicle parking options, including limited spaces with power hookups for High Flyers.
Unfortunately no, we need time to set up the site to make sure everyone’s experience will be as smooth as the backside of a dome. Anyone arriving before 12pm on Thursday will be turned away without exception. Thanks for understanding!

Absolutely not! Anyone who arrives before gates open on Thursday will be turned away, no exceptions whatsoever. Our staff needs the time and space to make sure that the festival is set up in the most comfortable, fun and safe layout for all of our domies’ enjoyment. Please respect the process and do not arrive before gates open on Thursday.
Google can tell you more.
My friends want to camp together, is this possible?
Caravans to the rescue! To make this happen, you all need to pull into the festival at the same time. Nothing is guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
Yes. We strongly prefer that everyone stays for the weekend for safety reasons (and most do), but we understand that life exists outside of Domefest. If you know you have to leave during the festival, you must tell our main gate and parking staff upon arrival. They will direct you to park in spaces that will ensure your safest and easiest departure. If you do not tell our staff upon arrival, you should expect to stay until Sunday barring emergency.
No raised fire pits or personal fires of any kind. Charcoal or propane grills are acceptable. We’re sorry for any inconvenience, but safety is always our #1 priority. NOTE: There are tasty food vendors with vegan/vegetarian options on site, as well as ice sold at our Domefest General Store.
Yes! We’re always looking for friendly, responsible, pro-active team players who will help us put on another smooth and fun event. Our attendees have such a great time at Domefest because our volunteers and staff go the extra mile to keep everyone comfortable, happy and safe. Not only do our volunteers get the satisfaction of helping others, but they also get to enjoy the same amazing music all weekend long. We simply couldn’t do it without our incredible team of volunteers! Apply now at bit.ly/DomefestVolunteer. Volunteer spots are first-come first-served.
Domefest is 18+ unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Kids ages 4-12 will be $20 at the gate, cash only. Children under 4 years old will be free of charge.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their legal guardian at all times. If you are not their legal guardian, you may not enter the festival with anyone under 18. We do not accept unofficial documents, such as permission slips from parents. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.
Sadly no, only High Flyers are permitted in all High Flyer areas at all times, including High Flyer RVs. Everyone inside a High Flyer RV must also have a High Flyer Festival Pass. However, High Flyers are welcome in all General Admission camping and parking areas.
All ticket sales to Domefest are final, however, in the unlikely event of cancellation, refunds will be made available for ticket holders, volunteers and vendors as needed. Should this occur, please check your email for more information.
Absolutely! Domefest is thrilled to be working with Vibes Hi-Fidelity Earplugs to protect your hearing. Vibes Hi-Fidelity Earplugs are reusable earplugs designed for live music. Unlike traditional foam earplugs that block and muffle sounds, Vibes lower the volume of the concert environment to a safer and more comfortable level, while still allowing you to hear music and speech clearly.
Head to Vibes’ website and enter the discount code “DOMEFEST” to receive 15% off + free shipping from now until December 2, 2019 at 11:59PM EST. Each purchase of one pair includes three sizes of interchangeable ear tips to comfortably fit any sized ear, a pocket-sized carrying case, and a donation from you to Hear The World Foundation, which provides healthcare and hearing aids to children in need. Talk about a win-win!
No harm, no fowl.
