Come learn how to make one of this year’s on-site art installations with one of Domefest’s longtime site designers Rachel Brown! Make epic “space flowers” out of recyclable materials and keep Marvin’s clean in the process. Bring your own 2-liters or cylindrical plastic containers (encouraged but not required) and discover your inner craft!

RhythmetriX offers fitness, meditation, and rhythm classes through group drumming on large taiko drums. In this rhythm class, learn a series of traditional Japanese rhythms and create a polyrhythmic monster! Colin Miller is the newest addition to the RhythmetriX team, but has been a student and performer on drums for over 15 years and has experience in rock, jazz, funk, and of course — traditional Japanese taiko!

Come one, come all, and watch Glass Flo in it’s liquid state at over 2,500 degrees! Learn how to blow glass as Glass Flo demonstrates how to make different items throughout the weekend, including pendants, marbles and more! Questions and comments encouraged. All glass blowing workshops will occur at Glass Flo’s vending booth, not the workshop dome. Led by Glass Flo’s own Kyle Troop.

Although Domefest strongly prefers no fire spinning, all fire performers must attend this mandatory safety workshop and receive a wristband that must be worn if handling fire at the festival. You’ll learn the appropriate places to spin fire along with the proper procedures to keep everybody safe while amazing them with your skills. Led by Steve Koellmer.
